Words You Should Never Say to Your Kids

There are some words and phrases parents should never say to their kids. What are they? Here you will find few samples.

Practice, practice and practice is the only way to sharpen the skills. Is that right? Yes, but in some ways you are not recommended to tell your kids all the time about very popular phrase like “practice makes perfect”. Do you know why? Because it brings the pressure to your kids to excel or win something. Better courage them to work hard. This process will enable the kids to improve and proud of themselves, whatever the results they may achieve later.

You and your kid are in a supermarket and he/she begs you for the latest toy. No need to think twice, you and other parents will commonly say “we cannot afford that” when don’t have enough budget for the toys. Guess what? This is not a good thing to say because if you do so you would have told them you are not in control of your finances.

Don’t forget if one day when you decide to make an expensive household purchase, your kids would be the ones who complaint you the most. Instead of saying “we cannot afford that”, you can tell them that it’s better to save money for more important things. This will be much better due to the fact that you can teach them more about how to manage money appropriately.

That’s why, parents are always recommended to choose the right words when talking with the kids. Even if you have the same lesson about a particular thing for your kids, there will be different response and result you get, depend on how you teach the lessons to them.
