Choosing the best name for baby is not always an easy thing. Husband and wife may argue first about how many words a great complete name should be, the surname, etc. It happens even when the baby is still in mom’s tummy. However, some parents prefer to choose the name after the baby born. Parents, whatever your choice is, do not choose any name before reading this guideline.
Considering Short Name
Long and complicated syllables are probably interesting to you, but not always the same for your child especially when he or she need to fill out any forms or applications in the future. Short name with “easy” syllables would be the best choice.
When choosing particular name, think about the nickname too. Make sure that both sounds great. One of the most popular examples is Katherine (Katie or Kate as nickname). Also, you may have ever heard Lizzy as nickname for Elizabeth.
Family Name
Adding family name as surname has been the old tradition of almost all countries worldwide. But if you and your husband do not have particular family name, it’s also good to combine the name of your parent and parent in law. It sounds fair, right?

You probably want to choose different name from the very general names which are widely used by parents in your country. If the answer is yes, so why don’t you choose any name from various languages? Some names from certain languages are really unique and meaningful at the same time.
