When is the last time you enjoy “me time”, Moms? Last week, last month or even yesterday? The days are already full with to-do list, either you work at home, office or be a stay-at-home mother.  Sometimes you feel so exhausted, want to give reward for yourself for a while by doing something interesting. What is the best activity you can do? Here are the ideas.

The easiest way to get me time activity ideas is by doing your hobby. Shopping, gardening and singing and reading the books are only few of many different hobbies most of moms have. So the concept of me time is very obvious: doing something you like, something which make you happy, and something which can boost your mood.

When those general ideas have been done and you want to try something new for the next me time, the most cliché idea is going for a walk. It sounds simple, even truly easy, but this could be truly great to get your blood flowing and at the same time will clear your head. Forget about your cellphone, forget about your worries. Leave them behind, take your walking shoes and step outside!

Spending free time by talking on the phone with old friends or relatives would be interesting too. It is (indeed) much better than texting, emailing or even Facebook messaging. You can share stories of a lot of things each other and probably arrange an appointment to hang out next week.

Another suggestion you probably never expect (or never presume) to read is do nothing. Yes, you read the right words. Do nothing. Sometimes, free time can be defined as the best time to stop from doing any activities. You just need to sit, breathe and relax. In this case, do nothing does not include watching TV or checking your smartphone. Also not checking your napping toddler once every five minutes! You will see that after some time you will feel refreshed and ready to check your to-do list again.
